School is In Session!

Today, the third and final week of Pastor Training opened at the Protestant Seminary in Yaounde for the ten probationary pastors. We opened with a session on Christian unity and ecumenism, structured by John Wesley's sermon, "Catholic Spirit." Later in the morning, a guest professor from the seminary led a class on the book of Amos.

On Friday afternoon, the training will close with a special worship service, in which five pastors will receive a license to administer the sacraments. The Mission Office will be providing specially-made cassocks for them to wear in their churches. Here, Simeon Nomo is being measured for his robe!
