Monday Prayer Requests

Thank you for all your prayers, especially concerning Rev. Thornburg’s visit. We made it through the Southwest Province safely, and it was a productive experience for John. He made it back home just in time to get on a plane bound for St. Louis for his next gig! Also, our daughter Rachel returned home on Saturday. And we have our newest arrival, Ginger Cooper, a Volunteer in Mission who will be working at the American School of Yaounde part-time.

Our first prayer request of the week has to do with Ginger. Please pray that she will quickly fit into the work schedule at the school, and find her place in the work of the Mission.

Here are some other prayer needs for the week of August 22nd:

… Rachel, Chloe and Mallory begin classes at the American School on Thursday.

… The wedding of Pastor Sampson Ashu on Friday in Douala. I will be leading the service and preaching!

… Rev. Bettye, as she readjusts to life in Texas.

… Continue to pray that our registration papers will move from one office at Territorial Administration to the Minister’s desk where he will sign it! And quickly!!

… Finally, one big unspoken/unblogged prayer request. Just keep me in your prayers over the next few days. I need a dose of wisdom …
