21. Learn a Cameroonian Praise Song

Scripture reading: I Samuel 16:1-13

We're halfway through Lent! How are you doing in your fast? We're also halfway through our "40 Things You Can Do to Support the Cameroon Mission Initiative."

Today, why don't you learn a Cameroonian song? "He Came Down" is a lovely chorus that can be found at #2085 of the United Methodist Hymnal supplement, "The Faith We Sing." If you can't find that book, here are the lyrics:

He came down that we may have love;
he came down that we may have love;
he came down that we may have love;
hallelujah forevermore!

Then you repeat, changing the word "love" to "peace," and then "joy." If you don't know the tune, make up your own!
